Llano County ESD 5 Commissioners Attend Annual SAFE-D Conference

Four of the five Llano County Emergency Services District Five Commissioners attended the Texas State Association of Fire and Emergency Districts (SAFE-D) annual educational conference on February 22nd through 24th at the Irving Texas Convention Center.  ESD Commissioners, as public officials, are required by State law to complete regular training in specific areas of Emergency Service District operations.  The SAFE-D  conference provides a venue to obtain this needed training.  The conference also provides training in best practices in the operation and management of rural and urban emergency services district.  Attending the conference were Jean Glass, Andy Spencer, Mike von Wupperfeld, and Karl Wolfe.
